I've had work selected for two exhibitions:

Banks Mill Winter Open Studio Event -

Friday, 21 November: 5pm-8pm
Saturday, 22 November: 10am-5pm
Sunday, 23 November: 11am-4pm

This is a selling exhibition for Creative Businesses resident at Banks Mill, Derby, UK or Associate Members.

Hove Museum and Art Gallery - Contemporary Craft to Go

1 November 2008 to 4 January 2009

This is also a selling exhibition with a couple of shopping events where you can buy the exclusive design led crafts at a 5% discount. The two events are: Thursday 6 November, 5:30pm to 7:30pm and Sunday 7 December, 12:00 to 2:00pm.

100% Success

Hi all

I got back late on Sunday evening after a successful, fun and tiring 4 days at 100% Design with Design Factory.

It was truly wonderful to meet so many interior designers, architectspecifiers, architects and businesses from the UK and all over theworld, as well as the general public on Saturday and Sunday in oneplace.
The Design Factory stand looked amazing, too, but that was all down to the other designers who were exhibiting as well, Jeanne Roberts, Lionel of Futurefactories, Gill Wilson, Peter from NamelessLtd, Stuart Akroyd, Noel Blakeman, Eiry Rock and Grant and Nick from Sonodesi gn.

I want to thank my family and friends who supported me throughoutthe run up to the exhibition while I was designing and weaving mypieces, Design Factory for sending me for selection and t

he 100% Design Selectors for selecting me.

It was a wonderful experience and has given me a huge amount ofconfidence knowing that I was the only hand weaver at 100% Design andthat my work is worthy of being displayed in the contemporary settingsI had envisaged.

Not long to 100% Design

Well it's actually 4 weeks to go!

I am exhibiting with Design Factory the foremost organisation that supports East Midlands designer makers. Our stand is J90, so come and meet all 9 of us.

New Artflock Website

Well I'm really excited about my new websit from Artflock!

I already have a website for Alison Yule Textiles but I wanted one that I could sell through. It was really lucky that Artflock sent the notice about their websites through Web Publisher, which came just before I went to the Contemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey, as I had been trying to decide how to go about it. Should I update my present site (at great expense), should I use an off the peg site. I really couldn't decide!

So here I am about to launch my new site.

Well it was a great fair. Well organised, well attended, good catering and fantastic weather. The bonus was I got a really great commission for 2 panel and 3 cushions!
